When you arrive for your treatment you will be asked to complete a private and confidential Health Questionnaire - this will enable us to check that Colonic Hydrotherapy is suitable for you.

 

We will then show you the equipment which consists of a sterile disposable speculum and accessory kit, the sterilised Dotolo Toxygen system. The process will then be fully explained and any questions answered.

 

You will then change into disposable pants and gown and will be asked to lie on the treatment bed for the procedure to begin.

 

Water which is filtered and pre heated to body temperature is gently introduced into the colon at a low gravitational pressure via the speculum (small tube). Your therapist will stay with you to provide reassurance throughout the process and will also carry out some abdominal massage to aid the release of the waste - again through the speculum making the process dignified, hygienic and odour less. This will take around 45 minutes.

 

You will be able to resume your usual activities after your treatment just as you would after any other bowel movement.

 

Clients report feeling lighter and less bloated straight after the treatment and have a general feeling of well being.
